A real left turn
Occasionally I wander off my usual rounds on Ebay (legos, welding, video equipment, buzz saws) and wander into very strange territory. Today I was checkout out the competition for some Legos and I wanted to see if I was up against bulk collectors or just your average buyers, so I pulled up the list of what they had won before.

Today I was checkout out the competition for some Legos and I wanted to see if I was up against bulk collectors or just your average buyers, so I pulled up the list of what they had won before.
Lets see, Videos, books, professional ear wipes for dogs ... Huh? Somebody makes wet-wipes for pets, and even stranger, somebody buys them? Turns out there's a whole line of wipes for pets (can't use an ear wipe on the eyes after all). Sounds like hopeless pampering to me.

Actually, two snipers went after each other while I wasn't looking, one was a pro, while the other was a rookie (you can always tell rookies, their bidding looks like: $10, $12, $14, $16, $18, $20, ... and they stop when they beat the existing bid); the pro just came in high three seconds before close and took it.
Probably should have bid a bit higher.
